It is a beautiful dayv6

[Verse 1] The sky is there, right at the windowpane A cup of coffee keeps away the cold The quiet street breathes slowly in the rain The morning light begins to softly unfold I push the shutters wide against the wood The rush of fresh air rushes on my skin It tells me that the simple things are good And invites another brighter day to begin [Chorus] It is a beautiful day, the world starts again Everything turns clear beneath the rising sun It is a beautiful day, washed free of the pain My heart is beating where the warm waters run Against my chest, the rhythm finds its way It is a beautiful day, it is a beautiful day [Verse 2] Your words keep echoing inside my head They leave a taste of morning, fresh and sweet I let go of the things I left unsaid And watch the shadows scatter down the street A sudden laugh as strangers pass me by My steps change course, no longer bound to time Hands in my pockets looking at the sky I hear the city start to make a rhyme [Chorus] It is a beautiful day, the world starts again Everything turns clear beneath the rising sun It is a beautiful day, washed free of the pain My heart is beating where the warm waters run Against my chest, the rhythm finds its way It is a beautiful day, it is a beautiful day [Bridge] When everything seems simple in the dawn The heavy burdens fall into the dust The fears that held the night are dead and gone And even little moments bring us trust [Outro] Hands in my pockets, walking slow The sky is clear, the light is gray Nowhere in particular to go Just moving through a beautiful day
