V.2 An intimate Russian classical waltz in 3/4, arranged for solo piano and one vocal part. Rubato phrasing, harmonic turns in the minor key, soft sustain pedal, muffled indoor sound and rare arpeggios accompanied by a classically trained male baritone. Gentle counter-melodies, restrained dynamics and warm, dry acoustic texture. Combined with the delicate strings and celeste, the intro creates a mystical atmosphere. Woodwinds weave playful melodies into lush orchestral textures. The sonorous section of brass and brass instruments and the choir add depth to the chorus, then the arrangement turns into a gentle harp and quiet brass instruments, ending with charm.
