The soul doesn’t sleep
It sounds the alarm
It wants to sleep
But it tears the body in two
I have a kind heart
Like a child’s
I believe in the light
But life
Like a dirty alley
Taught me to bite before
They say: “You’re doing great
We’re already here”
Smiling
Shaking hands
Laughing
But as soon as I turn away for a moment,
the dirt spreads out behind my back.
