Melancholic guitar parts with a tense, pulsating beat and melancholic vocals. The dynamics change from a quiet, almost whisper-like tension to loud, apocalyptic chords, which perfectly reflects the shift from personal drama to the theme of war. The tempo is variable: there are moments of slowdown, creating a sense of stagnation, and sharp jerks, conveying the chaos of the battle. The arrangement is minimalistic: the guitar and voice dominate, creating space for expressive, almost declamatory vocals in the form of a hip-hop recitative with alternating tempo and tone. The chorus is performed in a more melodic and emotional manner.
