Temple Engine

Style: a symbiosis of industrial (Doom Eternal), Gothic metal (Painkiller) and dark orchestral ambient (Quake 4). Rhythm: 120-160 BPM, polyrhythmic barrel in 4/4, hi‑hats in 7/8 (aggression of Doom), complemented by ethnic drums and bells (Quake 4). Tremolo guitar riffs (Painkiller) create a nervous pulse. Atmosphere: ominous antiquity and man-made threat. An abandoned temple with the echo of the voices of spirits, a sense of the presence of otherworldly forces, the growing tension of the battle. The space "breathes" low-frequency hum, and sudden pauses enhance the effect of surprise. Sounds: industrial percussion (rasp, metal plates) + ethnic percussion; distortion guitars and a church organ; Orchestral brass (trombones) and strings (pizzicato); synthesizer arpeggios and sub-bass drone; Effects: reverberation (temple echo), flanger on the organ, glitch on drums, whispers and groans of spirits.
