Painkiller features heavy guitar riffs and a gothic atmosphere, Doom Eternal features aggressive Argent Metal (overloaded guitars, demonic choir, electronics), Quake 4 features mechanical beats and futuristic synthesizers. Rhythm: tempo 160-180 BPM. It is based on syncopated drums (Doom Eternal) and industrial percussion (Quake 4). Polyrhythmia and dynamic contrasts: from ambient lulls to explosive sections. Short bursts of energy highlight the key points of the battle. Atmosphere: adrenaline and the chaos of battle combined with the disturbing "artificiality" of Hollywood pavilions. The echo and reverberation simulate huge halls. Background noises (humming lights, creaking scenery) and "cinematic" details (distorted orchestral motifs, the clicks of firecrackers) are interwoven. The "nightmare behind the scenes" effect: demonic music collides with the illusory scenery.
