I Was So Small
Back then I was so very small,
I used to run away from home.
Not that I had to hide at all,
I just longed for the sky to roam.
I’d fly up to the moon at night,
And gather supplies by morning light.
I’d ride a rocket,bold and fast,
And eat my rations on the blast.
I’d set a course straight up to Mars,
No need for food or medicine jars.
The journey made me lose my sense,
Forgot the world,was in suspense.
I studied space up from the roof,
Connected to the stars,aloof!
Those wild,wild woods, a boundless maze,
A swirl of wonders,a blinding haze!
With Borgs and Dominators mean,
I’d either talk or conquer them clean!
I never understood a soul,
The world to me was just too small.
How can you live without the sky?
Your boring tales,just tell me why?
Throw off these earthly chains so tight,
Let's break into the stellar night!
We'll rush into the great unknown,
We'll find a place to call our own!
I boarded up my rocket ship,BUCKLED UP for my last trip...
But...but... but... I woke up in my bed.
How could this be?I was just there!
I convinced the crew,I led with flair!
I almost rested on my fame,
A local hero in my name...
I’ll wait a little,not too long,
Less than two years,I’ll grow up strong.
And when I’m finally an adult man,
We’ll all fly there,my faithful band.
