Epic comedic pirate folk-rock / sea shanty, fast and rowdy, with a huge instantly recognizable instrumental hook. Russian male vocal, raspy and theatrical, with a drunken sailor gang answering in the choruses. Main hook: distorted electric guitar riff doubled by accordion, fiddle, low brass and stomping drums; catchy, bold and returning between vocal lines and after each chorus. Acoustic guitars, pirate drums, handclaps and occasional Balkan brass bursts. Verses feel like chaotic tavern storytelling; choruses explode into massive sing-alongs. Add comic pauses, shouted pirate chants and a dramatic stop before the bridge question about the missing ship. Final chorus becomes gloriously chaotic with guitars, brass, accordion, gang vocals and crashing cymbals. End with a huge sustained “Тортуга-а-а!” and victorious pirate flourish.
