Текст песни

[Intro] (Soft mbira — steady picking, like raindrops on dry earth. Hosho joins — gentle, rustling rhythm. Then — deep ngoma strike. Pause. Mbira again. Lead voice — alone, quiet.) [Verse 1 — Lead] Red dust on the hands, On the shoulders, on the stones, The stones remember the stÉps of those Who walked before us. We don't Ásk for miracles — Enough for us the simple: That the sun warms, And does not burn Ínto Áshes. [Response — Choir, unison] Tinorángarira. (We remember.) Tinozíva. (We know.) Tiri kufámba. (We walk on.) [Verse 1 — Lead] Here every step is a choice, Not just a nzíra (road), Silence is louder than a cry, And within it — the breath of midzímu (ancestors). They taught us: "Keep your back straight," And we hold. Even when the world — turns away. [Response — Choir, unison] Tinóbáta. (We hold.) Tiri kufámba. (We walk on.) Tinokúnda. (We shall win.) [Pre-Chorus — Lead] Let them say, That time erodes the stones, But the stones know how to keep the voices. And if tomorrow becomes a little brighter, Than today — [Response — Choir, expands into harmony] This is our Hukúnda (Victory). This is our step to Chísúndo (Freedom). [Chorus — Choir, full harmony, marimba enters dense picking] We build the future From words, from deeds, From sand, from stone, From tears, from truth. Let the world not always be Kind and generous to us — We ourselves shall become Our own destiny. [Chorus — Lead over choir] Not for glory, Not for the praise of others! [Choir:] But for those, Who wait at musha (home), Who believe in us. [Lead:] Every day of ours — [Choir:] A quiet, stubborn cry: "We are here. Pamberi! (Forward!)" [Interlude] (Mbira plays faster, hosho intensifies. Ngoma — syncopated rhythm, two layers at once. Marimba — short melody, pentatonic, like rain on leaves. Then all quiets down.) [Verse 2 — Lead] A child laughs at the market — This is a small hukúnda (victory), In an old bhúsi someone sings, And this song, Flies above the gúta (city), Like a shíri (bird). The light goes out, But in the eyes the móto (fire) burns, Because tâmbo (hope) — Is also work. [Response — Choir] Tinóshánda. (We work.) Tinóshánda. (We work.) Tiri kufámba. (We walk on.) [Verse 2 — Lead] Someone studies, Someone heals, Someone plants the grÁin, And believes, That one day The earth will answer him too. Not everything comes at once, Not everything arrives in time, But we remember: Even a rwúzi (river) begins with a drop. [Response — Choir, into harmony] Drop by drop. Drop by drop. And already a raging flood. [Bridge — Lead, quietly, under solo mbira] Moyo beats in the chest, Like a drum over the savÁnna, Nyika whispers: "I am here, I am with you, Do not give up." We carry this burden Not as weight — As a banner! As a promise to those, Who will come after us. [Bridge — Choir enters gradually, first basses, then tenors, then sopranos] Even if the path is longer, Than we thought, Even if the road leads Through fog and rain — We know where we are going. We walk, Into a brighter future. (Ngoma — one deep strike. Silence.) [Chorus — Full choir, all instruments, full power] We build the future From words, from deeds, From sand, from stone, From tears, from truth. Pamberi! (Forward!)" [Outro] (Mbira plays the same steady figure as in the beginning. Hosho continues. Choir quietly repeats) "Pamberi (Forward)," Like an echo. (Marimba — the last note, long, warm. Hosho — the last rustle. One strike of ngoma. Silence.)
